Get rid of Act or any other installed software for managing your contacts.
That’s been the advice we’ve given over the last couple of months, as we’ve introduced you to a several replacements that enable you to add, edit, and share contacts across your sales team.
We’ve aimed squarely at those who don’t need either the advanced features of Act, nor the complexity of Salesforce.com.
We’ve written an article that reviews and rates those we’ve mentioned and highlights others we’ll be reviewing in the coming weeks. The list includes tools that can be used for primarily contact management and pipeline management.
It does not include full-blown email marketing systems that can house your contacts, nor does it include complete online CRM packages.
