How about one more simple use for Autotext that has nothing to do with being impersonal: sharing bits and pieces of frequently-used data. For example: at least once per month I need to send someone my personal conference call number. I now do that by simply typing "confcall" and Autotext returns this: Here's my conference call number: Call: 866-xxx-xxxx PIN: xxxxxxx And of course, you can always go the simple route: "tx" becomes a faster "Thanks!" and "thx" becomes a formal "Thank you." The BB's got a full QWERTY keyboard. Why not use it for your personal touch?
